Hydrothérapie

Hyrdotherapy includes all treatments using water; medical purposes, relaxation or for our well being. The use of water (fresh water for balneotherapy and saltwater for thalassotherapy) works at various temperatures and in the bath as well as in the shower.

In addition to its therapeutic effects, hydrotherapy soothes and relaxes. It can be equally performed either in a bath (Balneo) or in a closed shower circuit (Hydreco System).

HammamKnown as "Moorish bath" (referring to Muslim Spain: Andalus) and Turkish Bath by Westerners, the hammam ( "hot water" in Arabic) is a steam bath which  belongs to the same ancient roman bathing practices of purifying baths, from which the sauna also derives.

In its current form, the hammam was created in the Ottoman Empire, countries of the Maghreb to the Middle-East (Syria) through the expansion of Islam. The hammam (turkish bath) was in fact adapted to fit the precepts of the Islam religion,  which commands that its followers adhere to a strict set of hygiene rules before prayer rituals.
